Saving Throws Con +4 Restorative Hunger. For every pound of food the festerheart eats, it regains 5 hit points. ACTIONSMultiattack. The festerheart makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its dagger or longbow. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage and the festerheart regains hit points equal to the damage dealt. Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage. Gory Feast. The festerheart feeds on the corpse of one creature within reach that died within the past minute. The festerheart regains 9 (2d8) hit points and gains advantage on Strength-based attack rolls, Strength checks, and Strength saving throws for 1 minute. BONUS ACTIONSNimble Escape. The festerheart takes the Disengage or Hide action.

Some festerhearts become lanky with long limbs. These festerhearts move with an agility that their kin lack, though they aren't as strong and they're somewhat less durable. These festerhearts take up the bow and attack their enemies from range, using their speed to withdraw if they get caught too close. |
