Fell Elf (5e Subrace)
From D&D Wiki
Elf Subrace[edit]
Victims of a terrible curse that made them what they are, Fell Elves aren't necessarily "fell" in nature but their innate necromantic abilities have had them labeled as such by society. The exact origin of their curse isn't known, but one popular (but highly unlikely) theory states that it comes from the Shadowfell since many Fell Elves live there (which is one possible reason behind the name), however, it is much more likely the Fell Elves live in the Shadowfell because it's mood reflects their own. However the Fell Elves came to bear this curse, it certainly left its mark on them: pale, lifeless-looking skin and grey hair and eyes, the Fell Elves are the ultimate outcasts, always wandering, searching for a way to end their curse.
