Domains: Freedom, Protection
Warpriest Domain: Selûne
Feleo is the demigod of cats and the ruler of the merchant city Pardis on the isolated continent of Elara. He has the ability to speak to any cat telepathically. He can change into a cat, panther, or dire panther. He has limited omniscience and can only see or hear events that take place within seeing or hearing range of a cat or one of his followers who has a holy symbol.
Feleo used to be a human priest of the church of the Two Elven Kings in Cartheria and moved up in rank quickly after being favored by the local Elves. He drank from the church's holy goblet, which fills with a magical liquid every solstice, five times. On the fifth drink, he entered demigodhood and his eyes were opened. He realized that the Elves he and other humans had been worshiping were not Gods and that there was an entire pantheon out there that the people of Elara didn't even know about.
After his enlightenment, Feleo returned to Pardis, where he had been born. The place was little more than a town, its flimsy walls barely keeping back the waves of goblins and kobolds. Feleo organized the townsfolk and soon had them reinforcing walls and building decent houses to live in. He ordered a temple built for himself in the center of town. He made this building his home.
Soon, hordes of cats poured into the city. Feleo instantly banned any of the townspeople from killing these animals and granted them safety within the walls of the city. The people of Pardis soon grew to love the abundant cats, caring for them and giving them scraps of food.
After building Pardis up, Feleo decided to make it even more powerful. The forgotten little hovel wasn't even on the map. He wanted his birthplace to be recognized. There was very little trade through Elara in these years. The military cities would trade weapons, ships, and horses, but little else. Feleo established a trade route that took advantage of Elara's landscape and river-flow, maximizing its effectiveness. It took some time to catch on, but Pardis was eventually established as the merchant capitol of Elara.

- Do not steal unless necessary. Stealing to help others is encouraged.

- Care for and protect yourself above all others.
- Lie to protect yourself and others. Do not lie for self advancement.
Cleric Training[edit]
There is currently only one cleric of Feleo. Feleo is very casual for a demigod and does not demand followers. He accepts those who are lost and abandoned or those who fear they might soon be; whether by their God or by another human, he doesn't care. High-ranking followers (including the cleric) of Feleo are given special holy symbols that have been enchanted to let the cleric speak with cats. The more trusted or loyal of these followers are given similar symbols that grant stealth, acrobatics, thievery, or even dexterity bonuses.
Prayers[edit]
Feleo may be prayed to through a holy symbol, but he prefers his followers showing devotion by being kind to cats.
Temples[edit]
The temple Feleo lives in is the only temple to the Cat Lord in existence. The outside is lined with stone statues of house cats of all different breed. The entrance is a double-door. Feleo's holy symbol is centered on these doors, the dividing line splitting it in half as the doors are opened. Inside, there is an altar next to three huge statures of three huge cats: a lion, a tiger, and a panther. The panther is the center statue, and the largest. A curtain divides the space. Behind this curtain is a sitting room and a bed: Feleo's living quarters. This simple building is full of cats, who enter and leave as they please through an open space behind the alter. Feleo will often change form into a black tomcat and use this exit as well.
