Fallen Solar (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Fallen Solar[edit]
Physical Description[edit]
A Fallen Solar has a deep, commanding voice. Having a human-like body with copper, silver, gold, or similar metallic skin, its body was muscular and beautiful. Additionally, its hair was bronze or metallic in color. The large, gleaming wings of this creature were white or coppery-gold, and its eyes were like radiant topaz. A Fallen Solar stood about 9 feet or 10 feet tall and weighed about 500 pounds.
History[edit]
Just like Solars, among all angels and celestials, the Fallen Solars possessed the greatest power. They are considered by some to be truly godlike, except for the celestial paragons who were more powerful and glorious. The Fallen Solars were never worshiped by their own followers. Rather, they acted as the direct representative of the divine beings they were loyal to. These holy celestial beings frightened even the demon lords. Unfortunately, they’re no longer what they once were. Their power has become lost to them by means of not being worthy of them anymore, but nonetheless, still have some of their powers. Fallen Solars either choose to live their lives in a weaker state or fight their way to redemption.
Society[edit]
Just like Solars, they mostly resided in the Upper Planes until they fell. Also, like Solars, they were able to travel between any plane of existence, but only when the one they served instructed them to do so. They used to lead armies of other angels to battle fiends, but that was maybe once in several millennia. Mostly, they were sent on missions of great importance by the one they served, which most mortals wouldn’t find very interesting anyway. When they weren’t called into service, they would just maintain a state of contemplation, until they were once again called upon to service good. Now, they just walk amongst mortals where they either protect and serve them or live out the rest of their lives as outcasts.
