Ex-Mercenary[edit]

Most of the time, your glory days will one day pass and, with you, it was no different. You have retired from your old life of being a man who does everything for the sake of service. But nothing can change what you once were

Skill Proficiencies: Perception and another skill on your character's personality roll.

Tool Proficiencies: Any 1 tool of your choice

Languages: 1 language of your choice

Equipment: You start with two weapons, a martial weapon and a simple weapon, an adventurer or explorer pack (your choice), a tool you have proficiency with, a necklace with a saved photo of your old image from your mercenary days and 180 portions of gold

Specialization[edit]

You held a position before your old life and that life reflected who you are now. Choose one of the positions you held or roll d6 to find out what position it was.

d6 Specialization
1 Assassin. You were trained to kill those you were assigned to do, even if it cost your life. You gain proficiency in Stealth or Athletics.
2 Security. You were hired to protect something or someone of utmost importance. You gain proficiency in Insight or Intimidation
3 Soldier. You have been sent into a battle line to the death with your team. You gain proficiency in Acrobatics or Athletics.
4 Vigilant. You were sent to keep watch to a point where you needed to keep your eye open at all times. You gain proficiency in Nature or Survival
5 Informant. You were sent to collect information about an event that marked your life. You gain proficiency in History or Investigation.
6 Curator. You were sent to maintain care for the injured and those who were suffering from a horrible illness. You gain proficiency with Medicine or Persuasion
