Starting at 3rd level, when you roll a 20 on an attack roll with a melee weapon that causes slashing damage, you eviscerate your enemy (cut open their stomach making their organs spill out). The enemy suffer 1 level of exhaustion and begins to bleed, taking 5 points of damage at the end of each of its turns.
To stop the bleeding, the target must regain at least 1 hit point, or have someone succeed on a Wisdom (Medicine) check against a DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (whichever used for the attack).
Finally, you can choose to loop off one of the target's limbs instead of eviscerating it. Doing so doesn't provoke the exhaustion, only the bleeding.
- Greater Critical
Also at 3rd level, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon that causes slashing damage, you roll 1 additional weapon's damage die. This increases to 2 at 7th level, 3 at 15th level.
