Ethereal Sylph are usually serve the djinns as messengers and companions, though a few go their own way. Those sylph who serve others then djinn or go there own way are very capricious but they are often far more loyal

- DC 17 (arcana): A Sylph often serve a djinn master as either messengers or companions and if they are neither then they are know for there annoying but not necessarily harmful tricks.
Ethereal Slyphs are found with their masters or following a unsuspecting group(usually Djinn, Master, or adventuring party).
