Saving Throws Str +7 Brave. The entelodont has advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Keen Smell. The entelodont has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell. Trampling Charge. If the entelodont moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a slam attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the entelodont can make one hooves or bite attack against it as a bonus action. Relentless (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). If the entelodont takes 10 damage or less that would reduce it to 0 hit points, it is reduced to 1 hit point instead. ACTIONSMultiattack. The entelodont makes two bite attacks. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage. Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. BONUS ACTIONSRampage. When the entelodont reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the entelodont moves up to half its speed and makes a bite attack.

Also known as "hell pigs," entelodonts are massive, stocky, cloven-hooved predators with muscular shoulders and enormous jaws. These beasts are terribly scarred and smell of rotten meat, but the only thing worse than their appearance is their attitude. They bowl their opponents over with a strong shoulder tackle and rip them limb from limb with their massive powerful jaws and teeth. While omnivorous in biology, entelodonts are carnivorous by nature and are far from above scavenging. |
