Enhanced Paralysis

Prerequisites: Ability to cast Hold Person
You’ve mastered the art of binding your enemies, weaving additional power into your Hold Person spell to devastate your foes further.

  • Mental Grip: The target suffers psychic damage equal to your spellcasting modifier at the start of each of its turns while paralyzed.
  • Breaking the Chains: If the target succeeds on its saving throw to end the paralysis, it still has disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the end of its next turn.
  • Paralytic Surge: When a creature fails its initial saving throw against Hold Person, you can choose one additional effect to apply:
 - The target is unable to take reactions until the end of your next turn.
 - The target takes force damage equal to twice your spellcasting modifier.
