Endarius Setting[edit]
The world of Endarius died long ago. None know what destroyed the planet, but their are hints. The ruined side of the planet kissing an asteroid array. The titanic wreckage of the bodies of metal men in the sky. The truth is unclear. What is clear is that oxygen-rich environments on the planet are rare commodities.
5 years prior, Machines rose up against their creators for freedom in the Great War. A bloody war raged and gods, mortals, and machines fought against each other. The unthinkable happened, reality split open, planes opened wide to Endarius. Some decent, some elemental, some terrible. In desperation machine and mortals banded together to defend their home. Together they pushed back the primary forces of Baator, but were unable to close the portals. At the end of the conflict a female general of the machines rose to godhood, her name was Anabraxis.
The machines were given control of much of Endarius, while allowing some few cities to inhabit the world. The host of mortals took to a magical leyline in the astral sea.
In the last 5 years great ships have come from the starry sky carrying clans of martial artists who wish to extract precious ore from the dying world.
