Enchanter's Oils (3.5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Enchanter's Oils: Magical oils created by wizards to improve the speed and ease of enchanting. When applied to a masterwork weapon or armor, that piece of equipment gains the enchantment imbued in the oil. These oils can not be applied to magical equipment that follows basic progression or any equivalent. (ex: +1,+2,+3) They can apply any normal enchant or numeric bonus (ex. +1 or flaming). In order to create the oil, you must have the same requirements needed to make a weapon that would have the enchantment.

DMs: These oils make great treasure as it allows the players more freedom with their weapons. They can also be used as a trade good between smiths and wizards.
