Water Breathing. The eel can only breathe underwater.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (2d4) lightning damage. On a critical hit, the target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be stunned. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a new saving throw; on a success, it is no longer stunned.

Electrical Discharge (Recharge 5-6). The eel releases a burst of electricity in a 5-foot radius around itself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 (3d4) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The electroscale eel is a sleek and serpentine fish that measures up to 6 feet in length. A strange popping and snapping sound occasionally emits from the creature’s body as it shines with electricity. Its body is covered in shiny blue-grey scales that can generate an electric charge, allowing the creature to shock prey and potential predators. The electroscale eel has a long, sinuous body that allows it to move quickly and gracefully through the water.
