Fluff Fall. When falling, the electric sheep descends at a rate of 60 feet per round. When it lands, the electric sheep takes no fall damage and lands on its feet.

Shock Absorber. Whenever the electric sheep is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and instead gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the lightning damage dealt.

Static Cling. For each other electric sheep within 10 feet of the electric sheep, it gains a +1 bonus to its spell attack and damage rolls and deals 1 lightning damage to its attacker whatever it takes damage from a melee weapon attack.

ACTIONS

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1d4 - 2) bludgeoning damage.

Shock. Melee Spell Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) lighting damage. The electric sheep has advantage on this attack if the target is wearing metal armor or is made of metal.

Sleep Mode (Recharges after a Long Rest). The electric sheep can force a construct or warforged within 10 feet of it to make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature falls unconscious, ignoring all condition immunities, for 1 minute, until the sleeper takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the sleeper awake.

While they are elementals, electric sheep did not develop naturally on the elemental planes. They were artificially created by cloud giants as a consistent source of textiles up in their lofty palaces where the elemental beasts could graze on the latent static electricity of their clouds to grow wool, though the giants never managed to get the electric sheep to size they wanted and had to settle for quantity over quality. Some electric sheep were later imported to the Elemental Plane of Air by djinn for the same purpose, but their lack of flying ability has limited their spread in that vaporous dimension. Aside from giants, some air genasi and goliath shepherds have found success in raising electric sheep in high mountains where more normal sheep have difficulty breathing and finding sustenance. Strangely, electric sheep do exhibit some odd properties when interacting with constructs.

Cuddle Fluff. Electric sheep are extremely affectionate creatures, both with each other and most species that aren’t actively trying to hurt them, often approaching them without fear to nuzzle and get pets or food. When going to sleep, a herd of electric sheep will pile up into a giant hill of fluff which they have no problem allowing others into. However, once one electric sheep is hurt, a herd will quickly turn on the attacker, using their electrical attacks to fry them.

Mediocre Mutton. While prized for their wool, electric sheep are rarely slaughtered for meat or snatched by predators since their meat is terrible to taste for most species. It is best described as ozone-like yet oddly spicy and it harmlessly but painfully shocks the mouth with lingering currents with each bite's impact. Eating too much over a long time can also cause some minor nerve damage to most beasts and humanoids. The only creatures with a taste for their meat are blue dragons.
