Upon casting this spell, all creatures and objects caught in the area that have spell resistance must make a Will save against this spell. Creatures and objects who pass the save take a -2 penalty to their spell resistance (if any) while creatures who fail their save take a -5 penalty. Every round a creature or object starts their turn in the fog or upon entering the fog, a creature must make this save. A creature that fails need not make any more saves. Creatures and objects in the fog take this penalty for as long as they are in the fog. Upon leaving the fog, creatures and objects that never failed their save against this spell are immediately relieved of its penalties while those that failed their save against it remain affected for 1d6 rounds after leaving.
