A japanese improvised weapon often used by fishermen. Due to its weight, a character proficient in Bojutsu may use an Eku although it had proficiency with it, but takes a -2 penalty on all attack rolls. If that character also a has a Strength Score of 5×the number of size categories above fine or more, it takes no penalty instead.
