Eclipse Knight[edit]

Fighter Subclass

Eclipse knight harness their power from celestial bodies, drawing from the sun and moon to create a unique dual wielding style.

Eye of the Sun

When you gain this subclass at the 3rd level, you learn to harness a small amount of power from the celestial bodies. You gain 60 ft. of darkvision. If you already posses darkvision, it's range is increased by 30 ft. You also learn to read, write, and speak Celestial.

Moonlit Dance

At the 3rd level, if you are wielding two one-handed melee weapons and not wearing heavy armor, you can use your bonus action to enter a focused state for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits

  • Your walking speed is increased by 5 ft.
  • You may use your Wisdom modifier, rather than your Strength or Dexterity modifiers, to determine your bonus to attack and damage rolls with your melee weapon attacks.
  • Attacks made with your main hand weapon deal an additional 1d4 radiant damage, and attacks made with your off-hand weapon deal an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. When you make an extra attack, you may choose which weapon you attack with.
  • Creatures you hit with melee attacks cannot make attacks of opportunity against you until the beginning of your next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses after a long rest.

Searing Light

At the 7th level, you learn how to coalesce celestial light around your weapons. So long as you are wielding two one-handed melee weapons, you may make attacks with them as if they had the reach property, and they are considered magical weapons for the purpose of overcoming resistances.

Blinding Sun

At the 10th level, when a creature hits you with a melee attack, you may use your reaction to force that creature to make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 13 + your Wisdom modifier. On failure, the attacking creature is blinded for 1 minute. The blinded creature makes this saving throw at the end of each of it's turns, the effect ending early if they succeed. You may use this feature a number of times equal to half your Wisdom modifier (rounded up), gaining all expended uses after a short or long rest.

Concealing Moonlight

At the 15th level, if you are standing still in dim light or darkness, you can use your bonus action to become invisible until you either move or make an attack against an object or creature.

Additionally, you may use your bonus action to become invisible for up to a number of minutes equal to your Wisdom modifier. This invisibility only ends early if you become incapacitated or unconscious, or you choose to end it manually using a bonus action. Once you use this feature in this way, you cannot do so again until you complete a short or long rest.

Eclipse

At the 18th level, when you activate your Moonlit Dance, you gain a flying speed of 60 ft., and the bonus radiant and necrotic damage granted by that feature increases to 1d6.
