Duskur (4e Creature)

Duskurs appear as fierce and beautiful women, with a statuesque build and flawless skin. They have large black feathery wings, and red glowing eyes. They wield shining red bows, vicious black longswords, and long, black, leather bullwhips. Duskurs stand about 6' feet tall and weigh about 150 pounds.

Ranged.png Flaming Longbow ♦ at-will
Effect: Ranged 25/45; +16 vs. AC; 1d8+5 damage and the target takes an additional 5 fire damage. The longbow loses it's flaming ability when the duskur dies.
Ranged.png Rapid Shot ♦ at-will
Effect: The duskur can make 2 attacks per round with her Flaming Longbow as part of the same action. If both attacks hit the same target it takes ongoing 5 fire damage (save ends).
Melee.png Ensnaring Whip ♦ at-will
Effect: Reach 3; +14 vs. Ref ; 1d4+5 damage and target is Restrained (until escapes). It takes a minor action to sustain the Restrain effect, and the duskur can Pull the victim 1 square with each sustain. Duskurs can end the Restrain effect at-will with a Free Action. The Whip loses it's Restraining ability when the erinyes dies.

Duskur Tactics[edit]

Duskurs prefer to engage in combat from a distance, if any draw too close they will attempt to Restrain them with their whips and then hack them apart with their longswords.

Duskur Lore[edit]

A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check.

DC 15: Rumors in the underworld tells that the first duskur were once angels who succumbed to temptation and joined the ranks of hell as devils. Now the skies of the Nine Hells are littered with their descendants.

DC 20: Duskurs serve as scouts, servants, and even concubines for powerful devils.

Encounter Groups[edit]

Duskurs often act as artillery support for other devils, gleefully igniting enemies with their bows as other more powerful creatures tear into them at close range.
