A Dusagge Cutlass is a sword similar to the cutlass designed especially for slashing and tearing flesh. It has many teeth like notches along the blade enabling even better cutting. The blade is also curved, hence the sub-title 'Cutlass'. The hand protector is in the shape of a scallop shell, the ridges on it allowing blood to flow away from the hand for better gripping. But because of the decorative hand guard, the sword could be used for special occasions as well as battle.
