From D&D Wiki
Duriel[edit]
From the beginning of time I have hated you, from the wars of Angels and Demons I have hated you, and from the beginning of time I have plotted against you all, and when the end of days comes my malice will flow threw the multi-verse and the brittle bones of the mortal realms shall be burned until all that remains is ash, and those of you that saw my failings shall have entrails paraded before the minions of time so that you may see the fruits of your criticisms

Duriel is one of the oldest demons, in fact he came from a time when there was no such thing as devils, he was the head general of the demonic armies in the sin wars (the ancient war of good versus evil) until he was struck down by Heironeous who was only a demi-god at the time, and as punishment Asmodius transformed Duriel into a giant slug like creature, the form he still carries today, so much time as a giant vermin has made him greatly appreciate the mortal vermin, from a house fly, to a colossal spider. Duriels demonic title is the lord of malice. Duriel is slowly regaining his previous power, and wishes to one day overthrow Azmodius and re-unite the demons and devils again.
Dogma[edit]
Duriel encourages the destruction of the followers of Asmodius, and he wishes for his followers to avenge the many vermin who suffer day by day. and a bloodbath of the innocent in his name is never overlooked
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Duriel's temples are often located underground or in other hidden places, also his worshipers are encouraged to carry a tattoo or brand of his worship.
