Huge beast, unaligned Armor Class 20 (natural armor)
Proficiency Bonus +2 Blood Frenzy. The dunkleosteus has advantage on melee attack rolls on any creature that doesn't have all its hit points. Water Breathing. The dunkleosteus can only breathe underwater. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d10 + 2) piercing damage.

Known for their armor plating, these fish are similar to giant sharks. Now found only in certain spots in the ocean, these massive predators were chased out by the more successful sharks long ago. Dunkleosteus resemble sharks in appearance, despite not being sharks themselves. Their bite is incredibly strong, and due to its lack of teeth, is used simply to slice a creature in half. These placoderms are impossible to take head-on, as their bony heads are too dense for most weapons to pierce. |
