Water Breathing. The dunkleosteus can only breathe underwater.

A fearsome, if dumb and slow, predator of the ancient seas.

Known for their armor plating, these fish are similar to giant sharks. Now found only in certain spots in the ocean, these massive predators were chased out by the more successful sharks long ago. Dunkleosteus resemble sharks in appearance, despite not being sharks themselves. Their bite is incredibly strong, and due to its lack of teeth, is used simply to slice a creature in half. These placoderms are impossible to take head-on, as their bony heads are too dense for most weapons to pierce.
