Dragon Warrior[edit]

At a point in your life your devotion to dragons became supreme. Because of this a lost dragon soul has made a contract with you and is now inhabiting your body giving you power.

I recommend you play this with a chill DM don't try to force some rules of the class on yours if the DM says no it means no.

Dragon Follower[edit]

At 1st level, you gain a fraction of the dragons power in the form of dragon essence. You have a number of dragon essence equal to your Charisma modifier + your Proficiency Bonus. You can use these points to channel the dragon's power in form of different abilities. These abilities don't use actions unless stated otherwise.

You can have a number of skiílls based on your Cha modifier + half your level rounded up. You can exchange skills once per week during a long rest. Once changed you can not take the same skill again.

The dragons soul started speaking with you granting you the ability to talk with the Draconic Tongue.

And also you gained the ability to recieve dragons blessings. This happens when you pleage loaylty and do a dragons bidding. You have one blessing by default which is the power from your dragon soul. This dragon lives on inside you and is giving you his power wheater or not he likes it. Other blessings must be maintained frequently which may require some small quests or resources to the dragon based on the DMs choice.

You can choose two abilities from the following:

Keen Senses

when active gives you enhanced sense of smell. Gain advantage on checks with smell and hearing. Lasts 10 minutes. 2 essence per use

Dragon's Claw

every time you make an unarmed strike claws come out of your hand increasing your unarmed strike dmg to 1d6. Paired with Unarmed fighting increases dice to 1d8 and without weapon or shield 1d10. 1 essence per use

Lizard Skin

As a reaction your skin becomes lizard like on impact. Gain +2 Armor class for the attack. Has no effect in Heavy armor. 1 essence per use

Intimidating Aura

Every creature can feel your pressure just by looking at you +3 to intimidation checks to targets within 20 ft. lasts 1 minutes. As Action you can try to intimidate every target in range. 2 essence per use

Breath Weapon

Choose one of the Dragonborns breath weapons witch you can use by spending 3 essence.

Fighting Style[edit]

At 1nd level, you adopt a style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again.

Blind Fighting

You have blindsight with a range of 10 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you.

Defense

While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Great Weapon Fighting

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Unarmed Fighting

Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier on a hit. If you aren't wielding any weapons or a shield when you make the attack roll, the d6 becomes a d8.

At the start of each of your turns, you can deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage to one creature grappled by you.

Dragon Weapon[edit]

Starting at 2nd level, you can mark one weapon as your dragon weapon with a simple ritual with 1 dragon essence. The ritual can be performed during a long rest.

When using this weapon you can use your bonus action to enhance the weapon with 1d6 of any elemental damage: fire, earth (magical bludgeoning), cold, poison, acid, thunder, lightning, wind (magical Slashing/Piercing based on weapon). You can use this feature 1+CHA modifier times per long rest. In unique cases you can also deal radiant or necrotic but consult this with your DM.

Your weapon can now receive partial blessings from dragons by slaying your foes. At the end of combat count up the accumulative CR of all the creatures you killed/helped kill plus your CHA bonus. Than divide that number with half your level. You gain that many partial blessing points equal to that number and are from the same damage category based on which elements you used in combat with your dragon weapon. You count them separately because some skills or spells require elemental based partial blessings.

You can keep track like this: neutral p.b. - / fire p.b. - / earth p.b. - / cold p.b. - / poison p.b. - / acid p.b. - / thunder p.b. - / lightning p.b. - / wind p.b. - / radiant p.b. - / necrotic p.b. - /

Spellcasting[edit]

You have gained the ability to channel the magical energy of your beliefs and your second soul. Your spells may vary based on which dragon blessed you with spells. Mainly elemental magic. You lose the ability to cast leveled spells if not holding your dragon weapon. You can add spells to your spell list in the form of "skills" with partial blessings and certain requirements specified down bellow.

Cantrips

You know two cantrips of your choice from the dragon spell list. You learn additional dragon cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Dragon Warrior table.

Spell Slots

The Dragon Warrior shows how many spell slots you have to cast your Dragon Warrior spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest. For example, if you know the 1st-level spell Pellet Barrier and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast Pellet Barrier using either slot.

You prepare the list of Dragon Warrior spells that are available for you to cast, choosing from the Dragon Warrior spell list. When you do so, choose a number of Dragon Warrior spells equal to your Charisma modifier + your Dragon Warrior level (minimum of one spell). The spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

For example, if you are a 3rd-level Dragon Warrior, you have four 1st-level and two 2nd-level spell slots. With a Charisma of 16, your list of prepared spells can include six spells of 1st or 2nd level, in any combination. If you prepare the 1st-level spell Pellet Barrier, you can cast it using a 1st-level or 2nd-level slot. Casting the spell doesn't remove it from your list of prepared spells.

You can change your list of prepared spells when you finish a long rest. Preparing a new list of cleric spells requires time spent in prayer and meditation: at least 1 minute per spell level for each spell on your list.

Not to be confused the Dragon Warrior doesn't have a spell list but can steal spells from dragon spell lists based on his beliefs or be granted different spells from his second soul.

Spellcasting Ability

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your Dragon Warrior spells. Your magic comes from the souls of dragons you have or were blessed by. You use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Dragon Warrior spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spellcasting Focus

Your dragon equipment can be used as a spellcasting focus. (Dragon weapon/Dragon Armor)

Spell Learning

At any time you can perform a 30 second ritual to learn a spell. This ritual requires a Magical Dragon Amulet which can be purchased as a custom order for 50 gold, a taste of blood from your enemies and concentration. When successful you can add a spell to your spell list for partial blessings of it's element or neutral. You consume 1+(the level of spell you want to learn) of partial blessings and add it to your spell list permanently. If you don't have the full amount of spells active it becomes active. Cantrips count as 1 p.b.

Way of the Soul[edit]

At 3rd level, you chose a way of the soul. Choose between options detailed at the end of the class description. Your choice grants you features at 3rd level, and again at 7th, 10th, 15th and 18th levels.

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Way of the Soul[edit]
