Making a Dragon Master[edit]

Dragons are sacred. A bond with a dragon is the ultimate gift. Such are the teachings of the Dragon Masters.

Alignment: Dragon Masters are Highly reliant on their religion. Because of this they MUST be Good or Evil. No Dragon Knight may be Neutral.

Religion: All Dragon Masters Worship one of two gods. Good Knights Worship Bahamut. Evil Knights worship Tiamat.

Races: All Races make good Dragon Masters in their own way. But usually each specializes in a different weapon. Other Classes: Other classes tend to jump to conclusions when it comes to Dragon Knights. Because of the Negative Connotation to dragons. Many See dragon Knights as evil unless they prove themselves.

Role: The Dragon Masters is a Great Warrior, and because of this they often take the role of the Fighter in the party. Another benefit of having them as a melee character is their Dragon familiar's ability to dispatch other Large creatures with ease.

Class Features Game Rule Information Dragon Knights have the following game statistics:

Abilities: Dragon Masters need high strength, dexterity and constitution scores, for the same reasons that a Fighter does. High intelligence scores can be useful for skill points.

Alignment: Good and Evil only.

Starting Age: Moderate

Starting Gold: 5d4x10 (125gp)

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Dragon Knight. Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Dragon Master are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).

Dragon Mount (Su): When the Dragon Knight gains her first level in the Dragon Master class, her Dragon Egg hatches. The Dragon grows over time with the Dragon Master , as the Dragon Knight gains levels the Dragon will grow 1 age category until Large size then an age category per every 2 levels of Dragon Master; the dragon of Choice will be ride-able once its size is at least one larger than that of its knight. It has all the statistics of a Dragon of that type. It can Speak any languages it's Dragon Master can.

Dragon Bond (Su): The Dragon Lord and Dragon bond. They become linked in both mind and body. They can communicate with each other at will and know each others location at all times.

Dragon Armor: :A Dragon Master can fashion armor for himself from the discarded scales of his mount, gathering GP worth of scales per day equal to his dragon's HD. This is appropriate Dragonscale equipment that does not require the skinning of a live Dragon.

Channel Ability:: At 3rd level the Dragon Master can harness abilities from their dragon. Any ability the Dragon has the user can harness. This goes up one every two levels.

Flying Mount Training:: At 4th level the Dragon Knight learns to better handle himself on the back of a Dragon. Giving him a +5 to to any "ride" checks that they have to make on the back of a dragon in flight.

Natural Armor (Ex):At levl 5 the Dragon knight take the natural armor from the type of the dragon he or she has and depends of the age of the Dragon.In effect the Dragon knight natural armor equal to that of its dragons. The Riders skin also takes on color change slightly to reflect the color of their dragon.

Perfect Flight (Ex): at 12th level a Dragon Knight no longer has to take Ride checks when trying to Ride their Dragon while flying in clear weather outside of combat. Inside of combat they gain a +2. This bonus is cumulative with that granted by the Flying Mount Training. Unless riding with companions.

Dragon Age (Ex): The Dragon Knight will gain the lifespan of the dragon and will age like a dragon.

'Bonus Feat (Ex): Every two levels, a Dragon Master gains a bonus feat. The knight must qualify for these feats and they must be chosen from the fighter bonus feats.
