Draconian Felinus Cult (4e Creature)

The Draconian Felinus is a small, cat-like dragon. It has scales of many colors and a slew of elemental attacks.

The Draconian Felinus has its own cult, a rather powerful one situated near Baldur's Gate.

Draconian Felinus Tactics[edit]
The Draconian Felinus uses a combination of Flyby Strike and Double attacks to injure its foes. When in high health, it will often provoke attacks of opportunity in order to use Scramble. After it first uses Bloody Swath, it tries to end near as many foes as possible to use Elemental Burst. It then uses Bloody Swath whenever available and uses Flyby Strike.
Draconian Felinus Lore[edit]
A character knows the following information with a successful Religion or Arcana check.
DC 20: The Draconian Felinus uses its small size to its advantage, often scrambling over foes with its claws. It can also unleash a burst of fire, lightning, cold, and poison in dire straits. Once injured, it grows angry and tears through its foes, leaving a bloody swath in its trail.
DC 25: It's a cat-dragon thing.
Blue Guard[edit]

A Blue Guard wears azure armor made of cast-off scales from the Draconian Felinus. The armor is adorned with the Draconian Felinus's symbol, a black cat's paw with the white silhouette of a roaring dragon's head. Blue Guard Tactics[edit]The Blue Guard wades into the thick of battle, pulling foes close with Charged Strike and then alternating between that and pike. They use Jolt when a target manages to get too far away, in order to give it time to draw near. Blue Guard Lore[edit]A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check. DC 12: Blue Guards protect the Lightning Guardian. DC 17: They use electrically charged spears, sapping energy from foes one turn and using it to attack the next. They usually have a reserve for one large bolt in combat. DC 22: They worship a cat-dragon thing. |

Mages of the Draconian Felinus wear robes bearing the distinctive symbol of their idol, a black cat's paw with the white silhouette of a roaring dragon's head. They are of any standard race.

Mage of the Draconian Felinus Tactics[edit]
The Mage will stand behind Warriors guarding it. It uses Dragon Strike as soon as enemies get too close to each other and Repulsion Blast if enemies get to close to itself. It will flee temporarily to get to cover or another position it can strike from, but will never leave combat entirely till its foes are dead.
Mage of the Draconian Felinus Lore[edit]
A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check.
DC 10: Mages of the Draconian Felinus fight till the end. Though they may appear to retreat, they'll always be back to fight when they can do so.
DC 15: Mages fight with basic arcane attacks, in addition to a powerful area attack and a technique designed to shove enemies away from them.
DC 20: They worship a cat-dragon thing.
Sneak of the Draconian Felinus[edit]
Sneaks of the Draconian Felinus wear robes bearing the distinctive symbol of their idol, a black cat's paw with the white silhouette of a roaring dragon's head. They are of any standard race. This stealthy fighter enters combat only to protect his god, the Draconian Felinus. Not especially dangerous, but a very tenacious foe.

Sneak of the Draconian Felinus Tactics[edit]
A Sneak is usually accompanied by at least one Warrior. The Sneak using its Gliding Step to get in a position where it has combat advantage, then strikes. It saves Red Tears for an opponent that's able to find him, or an especially dangerous foe.
Sneak of the Draconian Felinus Lore[edit]
A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check.
DC 10: Sneaks of the Draconian Felinus are dangerous opponents that never give up. If you see one in a fight, find its body when you're done. If you can't, be prepared to keep fighting.
DC 15: Sneaks use a special stealth technique known as Gliding Step to move swiftly while undetected, but it requires intense concentration, and so they are unable to fight at the same time. They also attempt to blind especially powerful or perceptive foes.
DC 20: They worship a cat-dragon thing.
Warrior of the Draconian Felinus[edit]
Warriors of the Draconian Felinus wear robes bearing the distinctive symbol of their idol, a black cat's paw with the white silhouette of a roaring dragon's head. They are of any standard race. These warriors fight with fanatic devotion, protecting their idol, the Draconian Felinus. While not skilled, they never retreat, and are dangerous foes all the same.

Warrior of the Draconian Felinus Tactics[edit]
A Warrior of the Draconian Felinus's main job is to keep enemies at bay from mages and distract them from sneaks. They will start off by striking with Kneebreaker, switching to Slowing Strike after it hits. When an enemy is bloodied, they switch to Longsword to go for the kill. If an enemy gets too close to a mage, they will try to grapple or bull-rush them.
Warrior of the Draconian Felinus Lore[edit]
A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check.
DC 10: Warrior of the Draconian Felinus fight with rabid ferocity and never back down.
DC 15: They use slowing strikes, including a vicious blow aimed at the knees. They start to strike with all their force when a target is bloodied, no longer trying to slow.
DC 20: They worship a cat-dragon thing.
Encounter Groups[edit]
Warrior of the Draconian Felinus only fight with others of their cult. Their role is to slow and defend for their allies.
