You firmly grasp the skull of your target after a successful touch attack, instantly paralyzing them for that round. If the subject fails a Will difficulty class, you delve into their thoughts and memories. You can seek detailed information, which comes to you in the form of memories experienced by them, as if you were seeing them in an extremely lucid dream. You witness scenes, conversations, document readings, exact moments, and even perceive the emotions the person may have felt in them. All this information comes to you in seconds, like a fast-forwarded movie, and you learn in detail everything you hear, see, and feel.
The time you spend seeking information depends on your concentration; for each question or memory you seek, you require one round of concentration. If a memory is protected or blocked by a spell, you can attempt to bypass the protection with a contested Spellcaster roll. Although you can sense the emotions and experiences the subject relives, you don't suffer any harm as the subject in the memory does, and this doesn't break your concentration.
In addition, the subject receives 1d6 points of force damage each round due to the brutality of your intrusion into their mind, and they can attempt to resist every round. If the subject successfully resists the spell by passing the Will DC, they receive 1d6 points of damage per Spellcaster (Maximum 20d6), and the spell ends.
Creatures without intelligence or consciousness cannot be the targets of this spell. Any creature that has the ability to formulate thoughts, even if these thoughts do not originate from the creature itself, can be affected by this spell. This includes undead, constructs, aberrations, and any intelligent creature that stores memories.
