What to do about 4e class deletion[edit]

Surgo 15:18, 23 April 2009 (MDT)[edit]

I started deleting 4e class candidates for deletion. There's a bit of a problem though -- they can leave an orphaned mess of stuff. See User:Surgo/4e Delete Stuff for the list of what's been orphaned so far.

So I'm wondering what I should do with all that orphaned crap. It's part of the classes, so a case can be made for deleting it too. Also, I don't know that much about 4e but I'm willing to bet that virtually all of the powers in those lists are duplicate abilities from the PHB.

What does everyone else think?

I would say delete them as well.

As far as I can tell, the bulk of the powers are original content. However, with their respective classes removed, the powers are currently useless -- it would be like having a 3.x spell that wasn't actually castable by any class. If any of the powers are shared by multiple classes (and if at least one of those classes is still on the Wiki) it would probably be best to leave them, but otherwise I see no reason why they shouldn't be deleted.
