Supplement Pages?[edit]
Deviltrig 23:13, 26 November 2009 (EST)[edit]
I'm trying to set up a Campaign Setting and i'm new to the whole "wiki" thing. I was copy-pasting from another campaign edit screen and changing where necessary and saw these "supplement pages" that link to pages like "race" or "deities" or stuff like that. I can't figure out how to make these "supplement pages". can someone help please?

Yes, we use the supplemental identifier in the name to help with page navigation and classification. Some good examples are Endhaven (3.5e Campaign Setting) and Valgora (3.5e Campaign Setting). The best way to do this is to edit your main page with all the links you want, adding "(Campaignnamehere Supplement)" afterwards. I.e., for my Races page on my Valgora setting, I made the page "Races (Valgora Supplement)", etc. etc. Then when you save your main page, you'll have all the redlinks ready and when you're ready to copy-paste, just click on the proper link and it'll take you to a ready-to-be-created and properly-named page. That make sense?

How would you add the links to your home page? Is it like creating a different page for each link? How would you separate them?

If you check out this edit over at your campaign setting Prince of a Thousand Faces (Campaign Seed), you can learn what I did. Then just play around with the code - name the pages what you wish, etc. Once you get it how you want, save. Then you'll click on the red link (red links mean the page is not yet created) and it will take you to an edit screen to make (read: paste the copied code you have) that page.

Thank you greatly for the assistance!
