So, I've been trying to think of how I'd be able to play a chaotic good barbarian, without annoying everybody else at the table. My idea mostly stems from why he's adventuring in the first place, since he's a Dragonborn that was kicked out of his clan for killing a corrupt noble. His uncontrollable rage against authority was something I wanted to play with, especially in a way that affects story. When faced with anybody who could be considered evil, he is forced to rage, as a flaw. This wastes one of his charges. However, in case of a Lawful Evil character, he has to have somebody in the party roll a persuasion check to keep him from attacking. I'm not sure how to do this and not annoy any of the other players, but I hope they'll be okay with it if I run it by them. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help fine tune this idea, however.

So depending on how you build the character, this could very well turn into an interesting plot hook for your DM to follow through on if you talk with them. Are you going totem, berserker, or a xanathar's barb? Its your choice of course, but you could say that when forced from your dragonborn kin they gave you a way at repentance, to find some sort of focus by which you could control this rage. For a totem barb it is easy, to find a spirit animal to act as a guide, for the others, it might take flushing your character out a little bit.
Basically the idea is you start as a uncontrolled beast of relentless rage, then become able to focus on something, sort of like a meditation that breaks through the rage. They might still have to hold you back a little bit, but if they get annoyed with the persuasion checks, let them know about this quest and they will likely want to help.
