I am starting to work on a 5e Song of Fire and Ice, aka Game of Thrones, campaign. I'd prefer a different format for discussion but tis a discussion so I'll start here. So far I've decided that I should use the following rules/ideas:

  • No magic, except that used by the DM. known in the SOIAF world; Wargs, Greensight, resurrection by the gods
This would remove Bard, Cleric, Druid, Eldritch Knight, Paladin, Monk Subclass (forget title), Ranger, Arcane Trickster, Sorcerer, Warlock, and Wizard. I'd prefer variant classes that don't use the spell casting but it would be extensive work.
Available classes left: Barbarian, Fighter, Rogue. Monk is available too, just doesn't seem worth listing.
  • Only humans.
There are giants, wights, undead (zombies & skeletons), and dragons. Another race exists, and fey does seem like the closest D&D option for them.
  • Weapon qualities
I wish to have normal, masterwork, obsidian/valyrian
Initial thought is masterwork gives +1 hit bonus, and the valyrian gives +1h/+1d. Valyrian is very rare, and supposedly only a ~handful of weapons exist. Obsidian exists
*SPOILER* DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE WATCHING OR READING THE SERIES

Wights/undead are vulnerable to obsidian, aka dragonglass.

Any thoughts, suggestion, ideas....well that's why I am posting :-)
