Discussion:Flying Thunder God Technique
From D&D Wiki
How would I make this technique in D&D?[edit]
It's used in the Naruto series. Minato marks certain items, and can from then on instantly teleport to any of those items, pretty much endlessly. I wanted to create 1-2 magic items like this, so that my character could teleport between them (by throwing one, maybe). How would I go about that? Rogue The Demonchild 12:32, 21 April 2011 (MDT)
- Well, make it an exact replica if you want. Make a wondrous item (I think that'd work best, I'll double check the types of items later) that is a tag that you attach to an item and can from then on teleport to. It'd cost a LOT and probably have a range on it, might even consider making it one use to prevent abuse but that's up to you the creator. Did you need something else? - Really, I just wanted to have like 2 objects that I can teleport to at will (within medium range is perfect). It'd be useful to throw one and "accidentally" miss, then still be fighting and suddenly teleport to the thrown one, or something. Maybe even have a set of 3 items (a shortsword, a dagger, and a bracelet, ie), and whoever has the bracelet on can teleport to either of the other two items, as long as they're within (x) feet. Or maybe I could just create a class that can mark one object per 4 levels or something, and can teleport between them? Rogue The Demonchild 11:10, 22 April 2011 (MDT)
