If I change the doppleganger's type to undead, add immunity to normal weapons, and add mindblast identical to the Mindflayers, what would the CR be? --209.97.85.48 17:37, 20 April 2016 (MDT)

The DMG has a really good guide on how to modify and adjust monsters and their CRs on p.273, and a big chart showing different common monster features and how they alter the CR of NPCs (or monsters, really) on p.280-281.
