Dire ghouls are among the most hideous of undead, and the competition is fierce. They are ghouls who have been bloated by a combination of infused poison, and dark magic which keeps them walking. They have skin as hard as leather, and the dark magic has caused them to grow spines, claws and fangs. Although they are not as strong as the typical ogre, on measures of brute strength, they are easily stronger than a man. They are so poisonous, that even a drop of their venom can render an entire field barren in a matter of months. |
