Descendant of Medaka Kurokami[edit]

Descendants of the legendary hero Medaka Kurokami are known for their exceptional physical and intellectual abilities, as well as their strong desire to help others. Though they may appear ordinary at first glance, their unique ancestry grants them extraordinary potential.

Physical Description[edit]

Descendants of Medaka Kurokami resemble humans, but often have distinctive physical features such as bright hair colors, unusual eye shapes or colors, or unique birthmarks. Some may also have subtle supernatural traits, such as slightly pointed ears or unusually sharp teeth

History[edit]

The origins of the Descendants of Medaka Kurokami are shrouded in mystery, but it is believed that they are descended from the legendary heroine Medaka Kurokami, who saved the world from destruction through her incredible abilities and indominable spirit. Some believe that her descendants possess a fraction of her power, while others think that their abilities are purely genetic in nature.

Society[edit]

Descendants of Medaka Kurokami are relatively rare, but they can be found in many different parts of the world. They tend to be independent and self reliant, but also value community and teamwork. Many are drawn to careers in law enforcement, politics, other fields fields where they can use their exceptional abilities to help others.

Descendants of Medaka Kurokami may use traditional human names but some may choose to adopt names that reflect their unique heritage, such as "Kurokami," "War God," or "Book Maker." Others may choose to keep their ancestry a secret and adopt more ordinary.

Descendant of Medaka Kurokami Traits[edit]

The Descendants of Medaka Kurokami are a race of people with exceptional physical and intellectual abilities, known for their strong sense of justice and a desire to help others.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity, Intelligence and Charisma score each increase by 1.
Age. Descendants of Medaka Kurokami mature at the same rate as humans and live slightly longer, with a maximum age of around 120 years
Alignment. Descendants of Medaka Kurokami are typically driven by a strong sense of justice and a desire to help others, making them more likely to be good-aligned. However their exceptional abilities can also make them arrogant and dismissive of those they see as inferior, making some of them lean towards a more neutral alignment.
Size. Descendants of Medaka Kurokami are the same size as humans, with a height ranging from 5 to 6 feet and a weight ranging from 100 to 180 pounds.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Exceptional Abilities. You have advantage on Dexterity, Intelligence and Charisma ability checks.
Perfect Body. You have a natural armor class of 13 + your Dexterity modifier.
Abnormality. You can choose one of the following abilities to represent your unique "abnormality" a special ability that sets apart from other descendants of Medaka Kurokami:

  • War God Mode. Once per long rest you can enter a state of War God Mode as a bonus action. While in War God Mode, your Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores each increase by 2, and you gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. This mode lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action.
  • Book Maker. Once per long rest, you can create a "book" that allows you to copy any spell you see being cast or any ability use see being used by another creature. This book can hold a number of spells and abilities equal to your intelligence modifier. You can cast or use any spell by spending an action to read it. Spells are cast at their minimum level and do not require components. You lose access to the books contents after a long rest.
  • Encounter Specialist. You have a sixth sense in detecting danger and combat. You cannot be surprised in combat, and you have advantage on survival checks. Additionally, you can take a reaction to move up to your speed when an attack is made against.
    Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
