Tiefling Subrace[edit]
The first of the tanar'ri, and the prince of demons, Demogorgon is a maddeningly powerful being that is conflicted through his dual nature, as he is two beings, with each of his heads in one, both warring against each other. Tieflings tied to Demogorgon may often have traits that split their appearance down the middle, such as different skin tones or hair colours, and often have a shard of the maddening powers carried by Demogorgon.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Abyssal Resistance. You gain resistance to psychic damage. (This trait replaces Hellish Resistance.)
Legacy of the Gaping Maw. You know either the mind sliver cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast wrathful smite spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast crown of madness once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Twin Madness. You have advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the frightened condition, or to avoid or end the effects of madness.
