Defend the Icon[edit]
You grant the target supernatural reflexes, allowing them to strike back at their enemies when threatened.
Heart of Darkness
Level: Crusader 3, Swordsage 3, Warblade 3
Type: Counter
Action: 1 immediate action
Prerequisite: 1 Heart of Darkness maneuver
Description: If an opponent strikes you or an ally of your's within 10ft on his turn, you may activate this maneuver and grant the target of that attack an immediate attack of opportunity versus the opponent. This attack counts towards the number of attacks of opportunity allowed in a turn to that creature. You must be aware of the attack to which you apply the effect of this maneuver. If you are somehow denied your dexterity bonus against the incoming attack, you cannot use this maneuver.
