The DeepWave stalker is a variant of the common ShallowWave stalker, but it has adapted. The DeepWave stalker, as the name suggests, resides in the darker waters of the DeepWave. Although they maintain their love of all things shiny, they don't find many things within the DeepWave, so they occasionally rise to the surface to search for some coins or the like, then quickly dive back down to their nests. Besides the obvious difference in strength and habitat, they are virtually identical to their cousins in the ShallowWave. Due to the darker waters of the DeepWave, the stalkers have evolved an incredibly dark red to blend in with the darkness of the water.
