ACTIONS

Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and the snare can't use its vines on another target.

The DeepWave snare is a relatively large aquatic plant species native to the DeepWave Caverns. They latch onto a collection of loose rocks and sand and grow there for their entire lives. Once the snare reaches maturity at 1 month old, they use strong vines to pull in creatures and squeeze them until they die. The snare then uses these creatures as fertilizer for their seeds and sends them throughout the cavern with a bit of fertilizer.
