ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 4) piercing damage.

Vacuum Breath (Recharge 6). The maw exhales a vacuum wave in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 9 (2d8) thunder damage and is pulled 10 feet towards the maw. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pulled.

The DeepWave maw is a large, worm-like creature that makes its home in the caverns and crags of DeepWave. They need a large amount of rock to bury themselves in, and they constantly keep their mouths open to imitate a cave entrance. They use this clever disguise to lure in prey and suck them in via their strong muscles and gills.
