Deathlings are creatures who lurk in dark caves, sucking darkness to become as dark as the shadow itself.

Lore[edit]

A character knows the following information with a successful Arcana check.

DC 15: The Deathlings are creatures who hide in the darkness, waiting for poor prey to come.

DC 20: The Deathlings were created after a long ritual casted by an evil wizard. Living all their lives in a cave, they became vulnerable to divine forces.

Encounters[edit]

Deathlings usually fight in groups, or as soldiers of greater cave-dwelling or evil creatures.

A Deathling usually begins to fight with a Dark Claw and, once bloodied, goes far and uses Shadow Shot. If he can't go far from his enemies, he uses Shadow Shot to attack his farthest enemy.

Equipment Longsword

A Light Deathling fights using it's longsword on melee combat, though it perfers to use it's Light Deathburst while getting close to enemies. When no enemy gets close to it, it uses Black Spot. The Light Deathling prefers it's burst attacks over melee attacks, and will never run away from combat.
