Darkscale Lizardfolk[edit]
Darkscale lizardfolk are masters of the shadows.
Darkscale lizardfolk are lizardfolk that wandered into the Shadowfell and after several generations, were tainted by the pervasive darkness there. Their scales are now pitch black and they can control the shadows.
Darkscale Shadowcaster[edit]
Shadowcasters use shadows to manipulate their foes and hide their allies.

Darkscale Lizardfolk Lore[edit]
A character knows the following information with a successful Arcana check.
- DC 12: Darkscale lizardfolk are lizardfolk that became trapped in the Shadowfell. Eventually they were tainted by the pervasive darkness there.
- DC 16: Darkscale shadowcasters lead armies of lizardfolk into battle because they can cloak their allies in shadow.
- Darkscale sneaks are spies and assassins. They can attack foes who let their guard down with the shadows around them.
- DC 18: Darkscale gloomlords lead entire clans of lizardfolk. In combat they can create openings for their allies.
