Personality

Often depends on the base creature they take after, but all Daiyokai are honorable in their actions. They believe they are superior to the other races, more so to the humans.

Physical Description

Beautiful in their appearance, both female and male when in human form. Often there are markings on them to denote noble houses or regions. Their true forms take on the appearance of their beast.

Relations

Daiyokai see humans as unintelligent worthless things, and often don't get along with them. They avoid them when given the chance. Elves and elf like races they see as better than humans, and tolerable. Dwarves they find useful in their skills with their hands in building and standard labor. All other races they often don't see worth their time.

The most powerful Daiyokai tend to claim land as their own. They they range and very from Daiyokai to Daiyokai.

Religion

Daiyokai tend not to believe any any one god, believing what they see not based on faith.

Common, Oriental Common, Abyssal or Infernal.

Racial Traits

• +6 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, +4 Charisma
• Humanoid (Daiyokai) / Beast Form
• Medium: As Medium creatures, humans have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
• DaiYokai's Base Land speed is 40 ft
• Dark Vision 120 ft: A Daiyokai can see perfectly in the dark out to 120 ft
• Natural Armor +4
• Resistances: Fire 10, Cold 10, Acid 10
• Immune to Poisons
• Sustenance: A Daiyokai need only sleep a couple of hours a week, and only eat and drink once a week.
• Razor Sharp Claws - A Daiyokai's nails are powerful weapons, their claws deal 1d6 points of slashing and piercing and they are proficient
• Beast / Beast Form: A Daiyokai has a subconscious beast animal inside them that they get their more powerful abilities from. This beast can talk with them in the baser languages of animals. When they change into their Beast Form they change shape into a Huge form of the beast that they choose at creation. They gain an additional +6 to Strength, +4 to Dexterity, and +4 to Constitution, the HP of their Beast form is a different pool than their humanoid form, and they can stay in Beast form until HP reaches 0 or until canceled. They cannot talk in this form. To regain HP of Beast form the Daiyokai must rest for 1 hour per 5 hp healed. HP of Beast Form is the Daiyokai's Class + the modified Constitution.
