      1. Kaiju

Kaijus are colossal monsters that devastate cities and villages with their immense strength and power. Originating from the anime "Kaiju No. 8," these creatures are a blend of monstrous beings and powerful warriors.

        1. Introduction

Kaijus are legendary creatures of immense power and colossal size. They dominate the battlefield with their brute strength and devastating abilities, feared by all who cross their path.

When creating a Kaiju, consider the following questions to help develop your character:

- What is your Kaiju's origin? Was it created by a scientific experiment or is it a primordial being? - What is your Kaiju's motivation? Does it seek revenge, destruction, or something else?

Quick Build

You can create a Kaiju quickly by following these suggestions. First, Strength should be your highest ability score, followed by Constitution. Second, choose the Soldier background. Third, choose a great axe and heavy armor.

Class Features

As a Kaiju you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d12 per Kaiju level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 12 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d12 (or 7) + Constitution modifier per Kaiju level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: Heavy Armor
Weapons: Common Weapons
Tools: None
Saving Throws: Strength, Constitution
Skills: Choose two from Athletics, Intimidation, Perception, and Survival

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • (a) A great axe or (b) A warhammer
  • (a) Heavy armor or (b) Medium armor
  • (a) An explorer's pack or (b) {{{item3b}}}
  • (a) An ancient amulet or (b) {{{item4b}}}
  • If you are using starting wealth, you have 5d4 x 10 gold pieces in funds.

        1. Colossal Strength

At 1st level, the Kaiju possesses immense strength, capable of carrying and dragging up to twice the weight normally allowed for its size.

        1. Regeneration

At 1st level, the Kaiju regenerates 10 hit points at the start of each of its turns if it has at least 1 hit point.

        1. Natural Resistances

At 1st level, the Kaiju has resistance to cold, lightning, and fire damage.

        1. Devastating Attacks

At 2nd level, the Kaiju can make one additional attack when it takes the Attack action.

        1. Intimidating Roar

At 3rd level, the Kaiju can use a bonus action to let out an intimidating roar. Creatures of your choice within 30 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier) or be frightened for 1 minute.

        1. Rapid Recovery

At 4th level, the Kaiju can use a bonus action to regain hit points equal to its Kaiju level + its Constitution modifier. Once used, this ability can't be used again until the Kaiju completes a short or long rest.


      1. Class Option 1

At 3rd level, you choose a Kaiju specialization: Devastator or Guardian. Your choice grants you features at 3rd, 7th, 11th, 15th, and 18th levels.

        1. Devastator

The Devastator specializes in dealing as much damage as possible.

Brutal Attacks

At 3rd level, your critical hits deal additional damage equal to your Kaiju level.

Relentless Destruction

At 7th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can use a bonus action to attack again.

        1. Guardian

The Guardian specializes in protecting allies and resisting damage.

Steel Skin

At 3rd level, you gain resistance to all non-magical damage types.

Colossal Protection

At 7th level, you can use your reaction to halve the damage taken by an ally within 5 feet.


      1. Kaiju Spell List

Kaijus do not possess spells, but they have unique abilities that are considered almost magical.

      1. Multiclassing

To multiclass into Kaiju, you must have a Strength of at least 15 and a Constitution of at least 13.

Proficiencies. When you multiclass into Kaiju, you gain proficiency with heavy armor and common weapons.
