Cursed Dragon, Variant (5e Race)
Cursed Dragon[edit]
She was a young ambitious dragon curious about the humanoids whom lived near her lair. Taking on a form to blend in she began visiting them and learning their ways. An evil Wizard living near the small village took notice of her and wanted her for himself. Approaching her as she once again took her humanoid form, he propositioned her. As a response to her quick rejection he responded with a curse locking her away from her true form.
Physical Description[edit]
Taking the visage of any common Fae you are almost indistinguishable, from others of the same form. You have simple yet obvious signs that you are different, but not extreme enough for you to be outcast. Maybe your eyes are an off color, or some lightly colored scales are placed subtlety on your body. Elongated fingernails, oversized incisors, etc. Give yourself a physical characteristic of your Dragon form that you and your DM believe appropriate.
Society[edit]
To everyone else you are just another Fae, all be it a strange example of one. You have discovered that it is best to keep your true form a secret at all costs. You are weaker out of your natural form, but retain some magical affinity. Others may sense the arcana swirling around you even if you are not able to manifest any evidence of your inner self.
