Subclass Feature[edit]
At 1st level, you chose a Crow Feather. Choose between Raven King or Uncaged Lord detailed at the end of the class description. Your choice grants you features at 1st Level and again at 3rd, 6th, 9th, 15th, and 18th Level.
Ability Score Improvement[edit]
When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 10th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Spellcasting[edit]
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your Crow Father spells. The power of your spells comes from your connection to the Feywild. You use your Wisdom whenever a Crow Father spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell Casting Modifier[edit]
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
Crow Companion[edit]
At 2nd level, you gain a crow companion that acts as your familiar (see Raven Stats in PHB). This special familiar is able to utilize your cantrips and 1st level spells. The crow familiar can speak, read and understand all languages you can and as a bonus action, you can share it's senses and even speak through it. The crows has no range limit from the crow father. In combat, the crow takes it's action immediately after your own and has a claw attack of 1D4 + your PB and should the crow perish for any reason, you can summon a new one on a short rest.
Extra Attack[edit]
Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. In addition, you can substitute one of your extra attacks to cast a cantrip.
Evasion[edit]
Beginning at 7th level, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a red dragon’s fiery breath or a fireball spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
Lord of Crows[edit]
At 20th Level, you have mastered the ways of the Crow Father and are now unbound. You may cast one spell from each level without the use of a spell slot. Once you cast this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
Raven King[edit]
You've chosen to focus more on your martial ability allowing yourself more versatility.
- Feathered Blade
At 1st level, you can summon a sword that resembles a black feather. It is considered magical and cannot be disarmed. The sword is equal to that of a longsword but uses your Wisdom modifier when attacking. At 5th level, the sword is +1, +2 at 10th level, and +3 at 15th level.
- Crow's Sight
At 3rd level, your sight is magnified as you gain advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks and gain the benefits of Darkvision with a range of 100 ft. If you already have Darkvision, instead add 100 ft to your current range.
- Black Wings
At 6th level, you can summon a pair of black feathered wings and gain a flying speed equal to your movement speed. At 12th level, your flying speed is doubled.
- Extra Attack
At 9th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. In addition, you can instead use one of your attacks to cast a cantrip.
- World of Crows
At 15th level, you can summon a murder of crows to the field. You choose one of the following actions:
You and your allies gain the benefits of full cover. You can have your crows attack a target doing 8D8 magical slashing times your PB.
You can use this ability as many times equal to your proficiency. You regain all expended uses on a long rest.
- Unlimited Feathers
At 18th level, You show everyone why you're the Raven King as you make a massive attack. All enemies must make a Dexterity saving throw at disadvantage against your spell save DC. On a failed save, all targets take 8D12 (times Wisdom modifer) force damage and half on a successful save.
Uncaged Lord[edit]
Magic is everything to you as you've chosen to focus in amplifying your own ability.
- Crows Call
At 1st level, You may cast a spell without using vocal components.
- Cageless
At 3rd level, you channel your energy into a fixed point. You can upcast your spells by one spell level without expending the use of a spell slot of a higher level. However any upcasting beyond one level higher will cost.
- Winged Fury
At 6th level, You may change the damage type of any attack spell you cast.
- Chainless
At 9th level, your fixed point is increased as you can now upcast your spells by two spell levels higher without expending the use of a spell slot of a higher level.
