A creature enchanted with counterspell immunity becomes temporarily immune to the effects of one specific spell. At the time of casting, the caster must name the spell to counter; the spellcaster must know it or have it in a spellbook or scroll.

Once the target becomes affected by the named spell, the effects of the spell is suppressed for 1d6 rounds + 1 round per caster level. If the spell could be turned back on the caster by a spell turning spell, there is a 1% chance that this happens per caster level of the caster of counterspell immunity.

A creature can only be affected by a single instance of counterspell immunity at a time.

Casting counterspell immunity requires the same focus, material and xp cost as the spell to be countered.
