Corrupted Lineage[edit]

Sorcerer Subclass

It does not matter how this happened. An ancestor making a deal with the forces of evil. Becoming infected after touching a cursed object. Or even choosing to abandon their noble intentions to pursue a path that promised you power. The fact remains that you will forever be shunned by the forces of purity and goodness. But even though you are condemned to remain in the dark, you still have the potential to accomplish your goals. If you possess the ambition to subject yourself to the horrors that few mortals willingly endure.

Blasphemous Magic

Despite being shunned by the Divine, your pursuit of power allows you to learn spells normally associated with the cleric class. Except for those spells that possess the power of healing another. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new nonhealing spell from the cleric spell list, in addition to the sorcerer spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a sorcerer spell for you.

Corrupted Resilience

At level 1, the corruption of your soul grants you enhanced durability. Your hit point maximum increases by 2, and it increases by 2 again whenever you gain a level in this class. However, every time you take radiant damage roll 2d4s to add to the total damage you take. At level 4 in this class, the player gains necrotic resistance and increases radiant roll to 2d6s.

Unholy Knowledge

At level 1, your pursuit of forbidden knowledge has resulted in you gaining an understanding of the deepest secrets of magic. You gain proficiency in Arcana, but if you are already proficient, you gain expertise.

Oppressive Aura

At level 6, whatever light that existed in your soul has been fully snuffed out. While this can be detected by those around you, you have no problem in using this to your advantage since fear is a great motivator. Using a spell slot, roll a d4 to determine either how many creatures within 30 feet of become frightened of you if they fail a Wisdom Saving throw, or how much is reduced from their Wisdom saving throw. The spell slot used determines how long this effect will last, (turns in combat/minutes in non-combat). At the start of its turn, a creature may lose its fear if it makes a successful Wisdom saving throw.

Intimidation checks against creatures frightened by this ability have advantage. At level 10 in this class extend range to 60.

Evil Reach

Also at 6th level, you have the ability to strike at creatures that are afraid of you. Creatures within your Oppressive Aura are considered to be within Touch range for Necrotic spells you cast.

Evil Incarnate

At level 14, your ambitious desire to understand the world in ways mortals were not meant to understand have resulted in you acquiring a deep insight into why sentient creatures are susceptible to harm. You become immune to necrotic damage and can choose to be either immune to one other type of damage, or have resistance against two. Choose from Poison, Fire, Cold, Acid.

Mastery of the Profane

At level 18, your magical knowledge, twisted though it may be, grants you the ability to use the lower ranked abilities granted to other magical classes. You may select either 1 class feature of another magic using class so long as the feature is level 3 or lower. Or choose 1 feature and bonus feature of a magical subclass whose level does not exceed level 4.

The abilities gained from this feature can only be used a number of times equal to half of your Charisma modifier. And can only be regained by taking a long rest. Race features or other magical abilities cannot reduce the time it takes.
