Subclass
Core Forgemaster

The Core Forgemaster has fused their consciousness with a magical and mechanical core, transforming it into a control center from which they can create and enhance robots modeled after themselves. These automatons become more powerful as the Forgemaster improves their core, gaining abilities that rival those of their creator.

Core Forgemaster Traits

Level 3
Forge Core

When you choose this subclass, your consciousness merges with a magical-mechanical core, making it the center of your being. From now on, you are bound to this core, and you cannot move more than 60 feet away from it unless you leave the core (in which case you temporarily lose the benefits of this subclass). Your core becomes an engineering stronghold where you can build and control automatons that act as extensions of your own will.

Automaton Creation
You can create a mechanical version of yourself, an Automaton Forged, which is a robot that shares your consciousness and can perform the same actions as you. They have a CR equal to half your Artificer level (rounded down) and possess a simpler version of your racial and class abilities. https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Automatom_forged_(5e_Creature)
Controlled Automaton
The number of automatons you can have active at one time depends on your proficiency bonus. You can control a number of automatons equal to your proficiency bonus (minimum 1, maximum 5 at level 17).
Core Limitations
While inside your core, you cannot move from the chosen location. If you decide to leave the core, you temporarily lose the benefits of this subclass, including control over the automatons, until you return to your core.
Materials and Construction Time

Materials for Creating an Automaton: Each automaton requires significant materials. The cost to create one is 500 gold pieces per automaton. Additionally, you will need rare metals, magical components, and energy crystals to infuse the soul into the automaton.

Construction Time for an Automaton
Creating an automaton takes 48 hours of continuous work inside your core. This time can be halved if you have assistance (such as mechanical helpers or magic that accelerates the process), but it cannot be sped up beyond that limit without compromising the quality of the automaton.
Core Construction Time
Core Construction
Creating the initial core is a long and costly process. The process of constructing the core, into which your consciousness will merge, requires 2 months (60 days) of uninterrupted work, with a material cost of 5000 gold pieces. To build the core, rare metals, energy crystals, and advanced alchemy are necessary to ensure the successful transfer of your consciousness. This process also involves various magical rituals to complete the fusion of your being with the core. During this time, you will be unable to create automatons, as your body will be entirely dedicated to the creation and fusion with the core.
Level 5
Core Protection

Your core is now protected by an advanced energy field that provides essential defense to ensure your safety.

Core Shield
Your core is surrounded by an energy field that protects it from physical and magical attacks. While inside your core, you have resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage. Additionally, the core is protected by a magical barrier that grants it **30 additional hit points**. This barrier regenerates every long rest.
Defense Against Infiltration
Any attempt to manipulate or damage your core using spells or magical effects has disadvantage, as the magic attempting to alter the core's structure is interfered with by the magical protections surrounding the core.
Self-Corrosion Prevention
If the core is damaged, it has an automatic repair system that restores 10 hit points for each hour that passes without direct attack. This repair process can only occur once per long rest.
Level 9
Enhanced Automatons

As your core grows in power, so do your automatons. Now, your automatons can make independent decisions and take an additional action (such as an extra attack) during their turn.

Legendary Actions for Automatons
You can grant your automatons a legendary action. This allows one of your automatons to act outside ots turn, once per round.
Enhanced Abilities
Each of your automatons can choose a unique ability to enhance. They can take additional combat features (such as a fighting style or proficiency in new weapons) or advanced racial abilities.
Level 15
Advanced Forge Core

Your core has reached a level of near perfection, allowing you to further enhance the capabilities of your automatons.

Automatons with Mythic Action
When one of your automatons reaches level 15 or higher, they can perform a mythic action, similar to what a legendary character could do. You can use this ability once per long rest to activate a mythic action for one of your automatons. Mythic actions can include effects like a devastating attack, massive healing, or the activation of a protective force field around your automatons.
Complete Enhancements
Your automatons now have access to all the racial and class features you can choose for yourself, and you can customize them with any abilities or spells you possess.
Level 20
Supreme Core Forgemaster

Upon reaching the pinnacle of power, your core becomes a perfect control center. - **Unlimited Automaton Creation:** At level 20, you can create an unlimited number of automatons, though you will always be limited by material resources. However, there is no longer a limit to the number of automatons you can have active at once, as long as they are within the same plane.

Total Control Over Automatons
You can now control an unlimited number of automatons at once.
Shared Consciousness
Your consciousness is now shared with all of your automatons, granting them advanced intelligence. They have the ability to execute complex tactics and make decisions based on the combat situation.

- **Multiple Actions for Automatons:** You can allow one of your automatons to take 2 additional actions on its turn, and they can use legendary actions or reactions once per round.

The Core is Your Lifeforce
While you remain inside your core, your automatons will receive 50% of any healing directed toward you, and they can swap control of their movements between them without issue, even at a distance.

Playstyle

The **Core Forgemaster** now has the ability to create an unlimited number of automatons starting at level 20, but they are always dependent on material resources. Creating these automatons requires significant time and material resources, making it a logistical challenge. As the Forgemaster progresses, their automatons grow more powerful and can take legendary actions, making them key players in combat and support for your allies.

The addition of **Core Protection** ensures that the Forgemaster is safeguarded, allowing them to operate without worrying too much about external attacks while maintaining full control over their automatons. The number of automatons grows with your proficiency, making your army of robots adapt to your skills as you level up.
