Contender[edit]
Fighter Subclass
Prizefighter[edit]
The Gladiator never shies away from an audience. With passion for the dramatic and performant. The first attack each turn you make with a thrown weapon, you have advantage on the roll. You may do this as many times as you wish, but if an attack used this way does not successfully deal damage, you may not use it again for the rest of combat, or until you catch a weapon with Glorious Execution.
Glorious Execution[edit]
Starting at 7th level, you've learned how to properly cause your throws to catch the air and launch after striking. After a thrown weapon attack successfully deals damage, you may use your bonus action to force the weapon high into the air. The weapon lands within 5 ft. of the creature at the beginning of that creature's turn. If you are standing underneath it, you catch it and strike once more. The DM rolls a d8 to decide where the weapon will land using the table below. You must finish a short rest before using this feature again. If you choose to attack with a different weapon than the one caught, it is automatically sheathed.

Stand Aside[edit]
At 10th level, you have learned technique and style that allows you to weave in between your attacks with deadly grace. Whenever you catch a weapon using Glorious Execution, you may use action surge to interrupt the enemy's action and take an additional turn. You may now use Glorious Execution a number of times equal to your dexterity modifier.
Blood Rush[edit]
Starting at 15th level, after successfully dealing damage with an attack given advantage by Prizefighter, gain movement speed equal to your fighter level. (Increments of 5)
Whirling Death[edit]
Starting at 18th level, when you catch a weapon using Glorious Execution, you take the attack action against the target creature instead of attacking once. Additionally, when you make a thrown weapon attack against a creature whilst another enemy creature is within 5ft. of you, you can force the weapon to land within 5 ft. of the creature next to you.
