Concrete Conduit[edit]
Sorcerer Subclass
[1] by Daniel Cetina |
Concrete conduits are sorcerers who bear the affinity with stone and the elemental plane of earth. They can have many origins; some, are descendants of a long lineage of giants, which makes this tradition specially common with the Goliath race; others, have an elemental bloodline, that being the Genasi the most common wielders of this power; and, at least, there are those who, although do not possess the magic in by birth, they have been touched by those elements at early age, having magic ingrained in their bodies due to living in a magic infused land.
Is not uncommon that normal children that grew in an area of great latent magic - such as place that borders that primordial plane of earth or a magical battlefield - start to manifest these powers. Some will even go so far as to searching for magically infused stones in order to enhance themselves artificially with this power.
- Concrete Flesh
Starting at 1st level, your skin and flesh start to assume a stone-like aspect. Your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.
- Stone Resilience
Also at 1st level, you bear the hardness of rocks. Your hit point maximum increases by 2 and increases by 2 again whenever you gain a level in this class.
- Impervious Flesh
At 6th level, you can use a bonus action to magically enhance the durability of your body, assuming an extremely dense form. The transformation lasts for 1 minute, until you use a bonus action to assume your normal form, or until you are incapacitated or die.
While in thought form, your appearance is almost like a statue carved in raw stone. You are unable to cast spells with a Somatic component while in this form, and you have Disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws, since your movements are slow and deliberate. However, you gain resistance to psychic damage and to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, and advantage on Constitution checks and saving throws.
In addition, while you remain motionless, you are indistinguishable from an inanimate statue.
You can use this transformation a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining your uses after you complete a long rest.
- Carbon Body
Starting at 14th level, you can cause your flesh, skin and bones to become solid as a dense carbon rock. When you activate Impervious Flesh using a bonus action, you can spend 1 sorcery point to become immune to the frightened, paralyzed, petrified, and stunned conditions for the duration of the transformation.
- Diamond Self
When you reach the 18th level, your body can assume the composition of the purest of diamonds. When you activate Impervious Flesh using a bonus action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to transform into diamond, gaining resistance to all damage types for the duration of your transformation.
