Campaign Information[edit]

Playing a Concordant Knight[edit]

Religion: Most Concordant Knights do not actually worship a deity, but rather worship the universe itself, as an all powerful entity.

Other Classes: Concordant Knights get along well with most other classes, except for those of extreme alignments whom they see as tedious at the best or blasphemers at the worst.

Combat: Front-line fighter, who can heal at later levels.

Advancement: Concordant Knights usually stay Concordant Knights due to their multiclass restriction. If they do multiclass it is usually into a spell casting class or scout.

Concordant Knights in the World[edit]

The Universe seeks to stay balanced. I fulfill its need and vanquish you to the Hells!
—Quinyardress Mi'krasklit, Lizardfolk Concordant Knight

Concordant Knights are usually found in service to organizations that kill creatures of the extreme alignments. When not crusading against the extremes they are found in any walk of life.

Daily Life: Concordant Knights usually exercise for an hour in the morning or before bed to keep their muscles strong, and meditate for an hour at the opposite time to keep their mind in harmony. After that they do what most other adventurers do.

Notables: Amathoer Marthaze, King Rodrik of Jayrmeal, Kassandra Luziarm.

Organizations: The only known organization of Concordant Knights are the Preserving Acaolytes.

NPC Reactions: Most NPCs do not realize that they are anything more than a skillful warrior. Those who do know see them either as protectors or deadly adversaries.

Concordant Knight Lore[edit]

Characters with ranks in Knowledge(History) can research Concordant Knights to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.

Knowledge(Religion)
DC Result
15 Concordant Knights are skillful warriors.
20 Concordant Knights have abilities that surpass most warriors.
25 Concordant Knights are able to sense and avoid dangers that others can't
30 Concordant Knights use the power of a balanced mind to heal maladies and erase wounds.

Concordant Knights in the Game[edit]

Concordant Knights are able to fill the role of a fighter, or a backup healer. They can also help in social encounters if they have the right skills.

Adaptation: Could be any number of things.

Sample Encounter: Usually they would be against a group that is comprised of non-neutral characters, but might also want to foil the plans of a neutral group that is working for an extreme.
