The Colored Hair Onis[edit]

General[edit]

Lands[edit]

They live everywhere without problems, however they tend to like more hot regions.

Religion[edit]

They don't worship any god normally, they worship their flames and elementals to the utmost.

Red Fire Oni[edit]

Personality[edit]

Angry hotheads who always search conflict and often get mad when you disagree with them. However they are caring and loving deep inside and they often just act tough.

Physical Description[edit]

Between the Fire Onis they are the strongest physically in fact they have a strong and resistant body. They are kinda tall, between 6'1" and 7'4" with the females to be a bit smaller than males, and they have bright, colorful and fiery eye colors and flame red hair. They usually have big horns either red or black.

Relations[edit]

They tend to get along with weaker races because of their "protector" attitude, however they don't really like stronger races or races that tend to get mad as easily as they do.

Alignment[edit]

They are usually good, either chaotic, lawful or neutral. However there are not few evil Red Fire Onis and rarely you may find some chaotic or lawful neutral Red Fire Onis.

Language[edit]

They speak common and infernal

Racial Traits[edit]

  • +4 Strength; +2 Constitution; −4 Intelligence: They are tough and strong, however they don't really know how to think coldly and solve a problem without brute force.
  • Outsider (Native): just like Tieflings they are outsiders.
  • Medium: you have neither bonuses nor penalties for being medium.
  • Red Fire Oni base land speed is 30 feet.
  • Red Fire Onis gain a +2 to every strength based check except hit rolls and damage rolls.
  • Fire Bound: Both your body and soul are linked to infernal flames, you are able to light up yourself in those flames as a free action and deal 1d6 fire damage that increases by another 1d6 every 5 levels. This effect is applied for a single attack and you might use it a number of times equal to your strength mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Fire Tough Body: You may harden your body as an immediate action in every situation, the only limit is that you must decide to use this ability before throwing the damage roll. When you use this ability it lasts for a whole turn or until you get hit once, this ability adds to you a DR 2/- that increases to 5/- at 10th level. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your constitution mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Infernal. Bonus Languages: Abyssal, Celestial and Halfling.


Blue Fire Oni[edit]

Personality[edit]

They are a bomb of emotions who can charm anyone. They are well known to be solar and kind to anybody and they can be very reliable too, however the price for their company is often a night or two in their bed. Both males and females tend to be very active in both social and private life, always being the one to do the first step in relations and in new things. One of the few down sides of their personality is that they are really bad in reading the atmosphere and tend to joke around everything without noticing that it's not the moment.

Physical Description[edit]

They are way smaller than their Red Fire brothers, in fact they tend to be between 5'3" and 5'9", however this difference in height is compensated by their agility and their speed. Unlike their Red Fire brothers they are less tough but they are way more flexible and sharp when it comes down to speed. They tend to have less colorful eyes with grey or dark tonalities usually but some of them may even have brighter eyes, their hair are blue like the ice and they have small horns usually black or light blue.

Relations[edit]

They get along with any race and tend to be the most lovable ones between all the others.

Alignment[edit]

They tend to be chaotic neutral. Very few of them are either evil or good and few of them are lawful too.

Language[edit]

They can speak common and can easily speak celestial too.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • +4 Dexterity; +2 Charisma; −4 Wisdom: They are very agile and they know how to talk well with people, however they are not good at understanding what's around them.
  • Outsider (Native): just like Tieflings they are outsiders.
  • Medium: you have neither bonuses nor penalties for being medium.
  • Blue Fire Oni base land speed is 40 ft feet.
  • Blue Fire Onis gain a +2 to every check made to interact with people and to keep running, moreover they get a +2 to both tumble and jump.
  • Fire Bound: Both your body and soul are linked to infernal flames, you are able to light up yourself in those flames as a free action, when you do this you gain ×2 your basic land speed as bonus land speed and you don't provoke attacks of opportunity for the round, moreover if you move at least 80 ft in a round while this ability is active you deal an extra 1d6 damage of the same type of the basic damage with your next attack, this value is increased to 2d6 at 10th level. Lastly in the round where you use this ability the enemies you attack lose all their dexterity and dodge bonuses to AC. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your dexterity mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Fire Charming Tongue: Your tongue can convince anyone of anything. When you are talking to someone and use this ability you roll 1d20 and you add your charisma mod and your level/4, the person who is talking to you (all of them if more people are talking to you) must throw a charisma roll (1d20 + Charisma mod), if they succeed nothing special happens but the people understand that you tried to use a special ability to convince them, if they fail they are way more likely to listen to you and do what you want, in any case even if they fail their attitude towards you gets better and is more likely to increase in future. For example if you are about to engage a person you just met in combat you may try to use this ability, if they fail the roll the person is more likely to not attack if not offended and it's more likely to find a compromise. If you use this ability on a person who's hostile towards you you have a -2 to this roll, if you use this on a person who's friendly with you you gain a +2 to this roll. This is not like a mental control ability but more like an illusion or charm ability so the people, even if they fail the roll, might refuse to do what you want them to do or to agree with you. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your charisma mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Celestial. Bonus Languages: Abyssal, Halfling and Infernal.


Purple Fire Oni[edit]

Personality[edit]

The calmest among all the Fire Onis, they tend to stay alone and they don't like to interact with people. Even so they are the smartest among all and sometimes they can save the day with revolutionary ideas. They like to stay alone and think or do solitary activities like reading or writing and they often don't like crowded, colorful and noisy places.

Physical Description[edit]

They are human sized, the only difference is that they are a little thinner. They always look tired and have dull eye colors, they have different types of horns depending on the individual and their horns are dull colored too. They have dark purple hair but some have even lighter tonalities of purple.

Relations[edit]

They tend to stay on their own and don't have strong bonds with other Fire Onis, however they can get along with races with a calm attitude like theirs.

Alignment[edit]

They are often chaotic or lawful neutral. Almost none of them are evil or good.

Language[edit]

They can speak common, halfling and infernal.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • +4 Intelligence; +2 Wisdom; −2 Strength; −2 Charisma: They are very smart and have keen senses however they are frail and they aren't capable of talking with people.
  • Outsider (Native): just like Tieflings they are outsiders.
  • Medium: you have neither bonuses nor penalties for being medium.
  • Purple Fire Oni base land speed is 30 feet.
  • Purple Fire Onis have a +2 to all knowledge, spellcraft, spot and listen checks.
  • Fire Bound: Both your body and soul are linked to infernal flames, you are able to light up yourself in those flames as a free action, when you do this the next spell or spell-like ability you use has a +2 to save throws made agaisn't it and it deals extra damages equal to 1d4 increased by another one every 5 levels. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your intelligence mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Fire Blind Eye: You can enhance your senses with your fire, you gain for a full turn blindsight within a 30 ft range, moreover all the illusions within your sight are dispelled. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your wisdom mod/3 + 1 every time you rest, you can use 1 extra time this ability for every 10 levels starting by 10th level (+2 at 10th, +3 at 20th and so on).
  • Automatic Languages: Common, Halfling and Infernal. Bonus Languages: Any except secret languages.


Black Fire Oni[edit]

Personality[edit]

Black Fire Onis are very few in the world and they know how to make people lose track of them, it's not known how their personality is but people say that they used to be an empty race, always sad and serious.

Physical Description[edit]

They are probably human sized, it's said that their horns are white like snow and that their stare is like the one of a dead man, moreover their hair are typically black or white or both together.

Relations[edit]

None, they are a very rare race and they tend to stay alone and far from everyone and everything.

Alignment[edit]

The few in the world that are alive don't do anything neither heroic nor vicious so they are probably mostly chaotic neutral and they only do things because of their own profit.

Language[edit]

They know common and abyssal.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • You might add a +2 up to three times to the wanted ability scores, however for every +2 beyond the first you must take a −2 to another ability score too.
  • Outsider (Native): just like Tieflings they are outsiders.
  • Medium: you have neither bonuses nor penalties for being medium.
  • Black Fire Oni base land speed is 40 feet.
  • Black Fire Onis gain a +3 to five chosen skills.
  • Dead Flame: Your flames, unlike the ones of your brothers, are black and don't emit light. However they are way deadlier than those of the other color Fire Onis. You may summon the Dead Flames in your hands and do one of two things: you may hold them and do 1d8 plus another 1d8 for every four class levels on the next attack (even if it's a spell) or you may throw them and create a 40 ft line, a 20 ft cone, that creates from you, or a 15 ft circle, that must be created in a 60 ft range from you, of Dead Flames that lasts for 2 rounds and deals 1d8, increased to 2d8 at 10th level and 3d8 at 20th level, to everyone within range. Both of the damages dealt in this way are a special kind of fire damage that can't be reduced. You may use this ability twice every time you rest increased to 3 times at 20th and 4 times at 30th.
  • Curse to be Born: You are cursed since your birth, this curse makes you emotionless, however it gives you great power. In fact you gain darkvision with a range equal to 10 ft per level, a bonus feat every time you normally get 1 and a bonus skill point every level (4 at 1st level).
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Abyssal. Bonus Languages: Any except secret languages.

Vital Statistics[edit]

You are an Oni and as such you don't get elder, you grow like a human until you reach 15 and then you stop aging. Moreover as an Oni you don't have to sleep to recover hit points or anything else but you have to meditate for 2 hours. Moreover all the Colored Fire Onis have 60 ft of darkvision.
